Candidates must possess one of the following from a recognized Board/University/Institution approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) or Bihar Health Department:

Salary Structure
Successfully appointed candidates for the Tutor (Nursing) post will receive a monthly consolidated salary as per Pay Level 8 of the 7th Pay Commission. This corresponds to an unrevised pay scale of Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800/-. The estimated initial in-hand salary, including various allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA), is approximately Rs. 65,000 to Rs. 79,000/- per month.
Selection Procedure
The selection of applicants for Tutor (Nursing) positions will be based on a merit system, incorporating:
- Written Competitive Examination (Computer Based Test – CBT): This will be an online objective-type test of 100 marks. The exam will include 75 marks based on the Nursing syllabus and a provision for 25 marks for work experience. There will be negative marking (0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer).
- Work Experience Evaluation: Up to 25 marks will be awarded for relevant work experience (5 marks for each full year of experience as a tutor, up to a maximum of 5 years). Only work done as a tutor on a contract basis in nursing educational institutions located in Bihar will be considered.
- Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on their combined performance in the CBT and experience evaluation will proceed to document verification.
